The search bar in Windows 10 is a very convenient feature to help users access what they want directly. This is also an easy way to search for a locally managed index of files, file contents, and non-file items to access file/app/settings on Windows.
To start searching, just click the search bar (or press Windows + S) and start typing what you’re looking for in the search box.
In this example, we will find Settings. Just type “settings,” then click Open to launch Settings.
To search for a document, click Documents then type the file name.
