Outlook not syncing

Setting up and using Outlook on both Android and iOS is easy but sometimes, Microsoft’s email fails to sync emails, contacts, and calendar events locally or between other devices.

If Outlook stopped syncing on your device, you might want to do the following to fix:

  • Check your sync settings
  • Troubleshoot calendar and contacts in the Outlook mobile app

Check your sync settings

Check that Calendar is enabled for your account:

  1. Open Outlook and tap the icon to the upper left corner.



  2. Click Settings.



  3. Select the email account that you want to sync.



  4. Turn on the switches next to the Sync contacts and Sync calendars option.

If calendar and contacts still not syncing, try doing these:

Reset account
  1. Open Outlook and tap the icon to the upper left corner.

  2. Click Settings.

    Computer program - Multimedia

  3. Select the account that is not syncing.

    Android - Email

  4. Tap Reset Account.


Delete account

If it’s still not syncing, try deleting and re-adding your email account. To delete account, follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook and tap the icon to the upper left corner.

  2. Click Settings.

    Computer program - Multimedia

  3. Select the account that is not syncing.

    Android - Email

  4. Tap Delete Account.



Then re-add your email account depending on your device:
