How to change sleep settings in Windows 10

By default, your computer is set to go to sleep after a certain amount of time in order to help conserve power on your device.

How to adjust screen and sleep settings in Power and sleep settings

  1. Click Start and select Settings.

  1. Select System > Power & sleep.

  1. Click the drop-down buttons under Sleep. If you don’t want your device to put on sleep, select Never.

Note: If you’re using a laptop, do this for battery mode as well.
