Connect to a network printer

Can’t print from a network printer? The steps below will help you connect to a network printer and will allow you to print from one.

  1. Open Control Panel. Type “Control Panel” on Windows search bar.
  1. Click View devices and printers.
  1. In Devices and Printers window, click Add a printer.
  1. Your device will scan or search for devices or printer.
  1. If the printer is detected, select the name of the printer (e.g., Dymo Label printer) then click Next.

If your printer isn’t on the list, select The printer that I want isn’t listed, and then you can choose from these options to add the printer:

  • Select a shared printer by name if you know the printer’s name. enter the path to the printer.
  • If you have the printer’s IP address, select Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname.
