Change Date Time Format in Microsoft PowerApps

When using PowerApps you might find that the ‘DateTime’ fields are in US format by default.

This setting is managed by the browser your are using. 

The following outlines how to change to your local ‘DateTime’ format. 

Once completed and your browser has restarted, you should see the difference from US to UK DateTime format.

Example US Format:

  1. Open Settings
  2.  Navigate to Languages
  3. Add the English (United Kingdom) language [NOTE: English (Australia) does not currently work!]
  4. Enable the spellcheck toggle, then select English (United Kingdom) as the spellcheck language 
  5. Select the Ellipsis and Display Microsoft Edge in this language
  6. Click Restart to restart the browser

  4. Enable the spellcheck toggle, then select English (United Kingdom) as the spellcheck language 
  5. Select the Ellipsis and Display Microsoft Edge in this language

  6. Click Relaunch to restart the browser

  2.  Scroll to Language and Appearance
  3. Select Set Alternatives…
  4. Add the English (United Kingdom) language [NOTE: English (Australia) does not currently work!]
  5. Click OK
  6. Click Apply and Restart to restart the browser
