Adding Key Websites to the Taskbar

Important websites can get lost when you favorite them. In Windows 10, users can add web pages to the taskbar. It will give different icon on each web pages plus ease on accessing it.

Adding web page to taskbar using Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge
Graphic design - Design
  1. Access the website that needs to be added.
Product design - Product
  1. On the upper right, click on three dots icon.
Website - Web page
  1. Hover over your mouse to More tools, then click Pin to taskbar.
Multimedia - Line
  1. A pop-up window will appear to rename the web page.
JavaScript - Scripting language

Click Pin, and this is what it will look like on your taskbar:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
Graphic design - Logo
  1. Go to the website that you want to add.
Product - Logo
  1. Click the settings menu (three vertical dots) on the top right corner.
Web page - Product design
  1. Hover over your mouse on More tools, then click Create shortcut.

  1. A pop-up window will appear. From there, customize the name of the shortcut, then click Create. The shortcut will show on the desktop.
JavaScript - Number
  1. Right click on the icon and select Pin to taskbar.
