How to add a personal contact

Adding a personal contact can be done through 3CX Desktop App or 3CXPhone for Windows.

3CX Desktop App

  1. Click the three horizontal dots on the left side then click Contacts.
  2. On the right side, click the dropdown menu to select type of contact you want to add. Select Personal.

  3. Click the plus icon on the left side then enter the contact’s information.
  4. When you are finished, click the floppy disk icon to save.

3CXPhone for Windows

  1. Click the three vertical dots on the right side then click Add Contact.
  2. Fill in the information of the contact you wish to add then click OK when you’re finished.

Note: If you have the rights to create company contacts, you can tick the Add to company phonebook checkbox. This option saves the contact to the Company Phonebook, allowing all users within the company to access it.
